Although the commercial real estate industry took a bit of a hit in 2020 due to the effects of the coronavirus on job loss, since mid-year 2021 this industry has begun to recover and continues on an incline. According to The National Association of Realtors, in all of the main areas of commercial real estate more space was leased than what was vacated by the end of 2021 going into 2022. This is good news for anyone currently investing in commercial real estate or looking to build wealth and interested in commercial real estate as an avenue.
